TMI Tuesday #151
1. Describe the perfect date for YOURSELF... what you would enjoy most.
A perfect date would be at least an overnight (preferably a weekend) away at a cabin/house on the beach. To spend the time walking the beach, eating gourmet snacks and meals, good conversation, and making love throughout the day/evening.
2. Do you lean more toward being submissive or dominant?
I am pretty much a switch for the most part. I have to trust before I can be submissive so that just doesn't happen unless it is with D.
3. What do you usually wear to bed?
Usually naked, occasionally men's briefs or boxers.
4. Have you ever seen a counselor?
Absolutely! I went to a therapist every two weeks for approximately 2 years. Between working on my abuse history (alleviating some of the major dissociation & triggers) and surviving the ugly teenage years of my daughter, it was necessary to keep me sane. And worth every damn penny!
5. Lights on or off?
Before I lost my weight, I wasn't happy with the lights on. Now I could care less since I like the way I look!
Bonus (as in optional): Bonus: Have you or a partner ever faked an orgasm?
I have to get my second husband OFF of me. Our sex life sucked in the sense that he repulsed me so I just wanted/needed it over FAST. He tended to be the 5 minute man regarding orgasms so a couple of moans usually sent him the message that I came too.
I have had my sister in law in town for the last week. We had a great visit. Got out and hit the International District for a meal and a walk thru the market. A new experience for her since she hasn't ever seen an entire neighborhood that is Asian. We hit Pikes Place Market - again a wonderful place to be able to shop at regularly. I picked up some rocking homemade dried pasta - red pepper lasagna noodles, an autumn blend (pumpkin, chestnut, sage) orzo, and a calypso blend (mango, peach, raspberry, lime) which will make a killer fruit pasta salad. We worked both ferry systems so she could see the different perspectives. Hit our local "rez" pizza joint and ate a lovely lunch on the deck over the water. Meandered up to Hurricane Ridge and showed her how she could see Canada. The weather stayed in the 70's and blue skies which rocked. Of course she stayed in long sleeve shirts and jackets since it felt like winter for her. We talked quite a bit about her daughter and my daughter. She is just hitting adolescence with her daughter who is a junior this year. Mind you they both are church going Christians versus my heathen household. But it wasn't easy at times to try to subtly nudge her into opening her eyes at some red flags I saw. Her daughter sent me a friend's request through Myspace and I went and checked out her page and pictures. It was clear to me that her daughter was talking a big game, even though she "may" not be actually walking the walk. But as a junior, how long would that last? I really can see this girl just searching for the "husband" and settling down asap since she doesn't have any realistic goals at this point. Just made me thankful that it wasn't me going through this again - particularly since I still have a 30 year old daughter who seems to think she is 15 STILL.
I am really glad to get back to a normal routine. I didn't realize how entrenched we were in our norms until you add another person to the picture. I am use to eating a certain way (ie TONS of veggies), walking at various times, and more importantly fucking in a very certain way. To have to put all of that aside or "mellow" it all out sucked balls. It was nice to mess around in a vanilla sense for a couple days but I have to admit that I did hit the wall and "needed" more. It didn't help when a certain somebody decided that sleep took a priority. Kept me in check but yeah, I wasn't a happy camper...lol. Ironically even the dog senses that things are back to normal finally. Hopefully he will sense to stay the hell in the other room when the noise level rises later tonight!
